How does pricing work on a cruise?

You will have to have a chaperone attend because you have to be between 21 and 25 (depending on cruise line..) to book a cabin.

The pricing that you see for cruises is per person with a double occupany...that means 2 person in the room, each paying the price...

There are rooms that can host 3 and 4 persons. The 3rd and 4th guest usually get a small price break on the fare.

Other costs....the web prices you see don't include the port fees, taxes and new fuel surcharge. That can add $100 or so bucks to each ticket....Tips are $10 per day per guest.

Soda is not included...$1.75 per can or about $45 for the week.

All of the food except the speciality dining is included in the fare.

Other optional costs...

- Photos - $20-25 per sheet.
- Bingo - $5-10 per card
- Parking at cruise terminal or shuttle
- Taxi while in ports of call
- Tips for luggage porters
- Casino - 18 years olds can get in.
- Shore excursions
- Spa services

You can usually grab a taxi in a port of call and ask to go to the free beach but be sure to have money for the taxi and other incidentals while in port (food, etc.)

Carnival requires you to be 21 to travel without a parent. However, if you are under 21, you have to travel with somebody who is 25 and older. it also depends on what kind of room you want: inside, oceanview, balcony or suite and depends on where you go as well. 3 to 5 days trip to ensenada tends to be around 300 for an inside room and more if you want a room with a view.

You need to be at least 21 or have someone in each cabin that is. (With Carnival, you need to be at least 25). The prices quoted are per person for the first two people in each cabin. The food, entertainment and transportation are all included in that price. You do need to pay extra for tips ($10 per person per day) this are share by all the people who work so hard to serve you. Other things you need money for are: excursions on shore, photographs, specialty restaurants, gambling, spa or salon treatments and drinks.

Your going to have to check with the cruise line on age. But i assume the min is going to be 18 without a parent. But it may be 21. As far as price, its per person not room. Well the one i went on it was. But it does get cheaper per person the more ppl you squeeze in a room and the lower the deck you go. But all the food is free on the ship and like the one i was on had a 24 hr pizza and snack bar. only thing we had to pay for was alcohol. It was like 500-600 a person for 4 ppl in the room. 4 day and 5 night cruise.
Get a travel booklet or check carnivals website. They will have a more accurate estimate than mine.

there are lots of online cruise deals that you can find in the internet. those agencies also offer custom packages so you can just ask to a certain number of agencies and decide which one has the best offer =)

MOST on-line website try and make you click 4-5 times before seeing the TOTAL fare.
When you visit a web site most show you the cruise fare w/out taxes, port charges and fuel supplement.
Becareful as some also require you to register to get a quote.
Check around or ask a local travel agent for help.

You must be at least 21 to travel on most lines. 18 for Disney. Pricing is on a per person basis not the entire room like in hotels. Food, Entertainment, lodging are included in the Cruise Price. Extras include soda, alcohol, gratuities, spa, etc.----If there is anyone traveling under 21 there must be someone 25 or older in the same cabin-usually a parent
