Get a taxi, You don't want to be dragging luggage through San Juan in the heat. Taxi's are cheap and will take you right to the cruise ship. |

There are two cruise ship piers in San Juan. Taxi fare under $20 to the Comfort Inn. Just ask the rate before getting into the taxi. |

i wouldn't walk any where near the pier at san juan. it is not in the best place in san juan. but taxi's are really cheap in puerto rico |

I know its not close to the carnival pier, that's in old San Juan. Not sure about the Royal Caribbean one, but I doubt it. If you were going with carnival the Sheraton old San Juan is close to their pier. I walked it with luggage, it was about two blocks. |
