How is Carnival like compared to Royal Caribbean?

Carnival caters to the younger party hardy crowd. I have heard a lot of complaints that their ships are overcrowded, not well maintained and the food is so so at best.

Royal Caribbean is an entirely different and better experience. Newer ships. Better food and better entertainment. Don't listen to the guy who described it as being for the blue haired crowd. He displayed a lot of arrogance by saying that. I have seen people on RC from their pre-teens to their 80's, with most 30-60 years old.

Well, I have only ever been on Royal Caribbean and Holland America. We are going on our 4th cruise in a couple weeks which will be with Royal Caribbean. My aunt and uncle who have cruised about 20 time said there is really no comparison between Carnival and Royal Caribbean. RCI has much nicer and bigger ships, and they are cleaner. The staff is nicer too. Carnival is just kind of like the cheap seats of cruise lines. They are not clean and have a really rowdy crowd. They just aren't as nice. I would definately recommend Royal Caribbean. They are awesome.

Not too much difference between the two. However I can tell you they are both GREAT cruise lines. In fact they are the two largest cruise lines. For more info and too book a cruise with any of these or ton other cruise lines visit http://www.cruisesonly.com there, you are sure to find unbiased advise and help getting a great deal.

Happy Travels!

I have not been on Royal Caribbean but have taken two cruises on Carnival. We never saw the party crowds we had been warned about. There were people of all ages and it was just a great cruise line. Have fun!

Carnival caters to a younger crowd - the Fun Ships
Royal has some newer ships with real cool features like the Flowrider!

Carnival = Younger crowd, more fun
Royal Caribean = Lots of people with blue hair and wheelchairs.

Did both.

well there are really about the same "its like south west airlines and delta" there just 2 company's doing the same thing.its just that one might go to other places that the other don't . and one might have better prices than the other. AKA there are 2 company's because of competition
