mine doesn't usually hit me as soon as I step off, but I usually stay a night post cruise in the port of disembarkation and as soon as I have that first drink BAM! It hits me and lasts the night. |

Based on all these other answers I must be the exception, but I had the so called "sea legs" sensation for only about an hour after getting off the ship. I will say that I only had one, out of my last 5 cruises, that had "choppy" seas so the boats really didn't rock. |

That feeling can last up to a few days. I went on a royal caribbean cruise a few years ago and I was still feeling like I was swaying a few days later. (or could that have been from all the pina coladas's I had? hmmmmmmmmmm.)Hope you had a good time! |

It can take several days. It really depends on how rocky the boat was too. Hang in there, depending on how sensitive you are, it will take days, but eventually will go away! |

For me it lasted a week. What ended it was taking over the counter bonine every 6 hours. I did that and it went away within a few days. |

Mine lasted about a day. But for several nights after that, i still felt as though i was rocking! This is normal. How long were you on the cruise for?
If the problem persists for more than a week, you should perhaps contact your doctor.
But otherwise, just stick it out! I'm pretty sure it will pass! :) |
