I have traveled on Norwegian several times now, as a matter of fact - I have a cruise booked for this coming October.
The staterooms on Norwegian are a decent size, larger than a lot of other lines. The rate for a room depends on the ship, the itinerary, number of days, date of sailing, etc. The only way to know the rate for the room of your choice is to research it on their website.
To put things into perspective, the Ocean View on my sailing is $2,300.00 a person. I am staying in an Owners Suite which is $5,300.00 a person. The Penthouse which I stayed in on my previous sailing was $2,500.00 per person. Keep in mind that the last cruise was 17 days transatlantic from England to Texas and the coming one is 15 days from Spain to Florida.
If you are taking an ordinary itinerary - The price probably won't exceed $1,500.00 per person.
You may not know this, but with all cruise lines, if you are traveling alone you are required to pay double occupancy. This means that even if the room is $1,200.00 a person and it is only you, you are required to pay $2,400.00 a person as if there were 2 people in your room.

Depends on what time of year, holidays, travel season, and other things, including if they are trying to fill the ship up, or the destinations, it just really depends. If money is an issue you could possibly get an interior stateroom which the only time you will be in your room is to shower, change clothes, and sleep. Otherwise you could just try a different cruise line, and save a few dollars. |

It all depends on the ship and the time of year your booking it. Go to www.GetAwayMall.com you can select cruises, the cruise line you want and the month you'd like to cruise on. It will then give you all the prices, video clips of each ship, list of activities on that particular ship, the itinerary and much more. |
