I agree w/ the 1st poster... they're about a million dollars!!!

I haven't used the spa, so it might be worth it?

That depends on what you are looking to get. But they will have specials available especially on days that the boat is ashore. They usually start around fifty, but I believe all of the stuff that low is in the salon portion of the spa.

1 888 CARNIVAL can help you. they even book appts for you prior to sailing. in general, i have found that spa services are general about 30 precent more than you would pay on land. there are specials offered for massages, teeth whitening, on the days that people are in port and near the end of the ship. if you want to have your hair done for a formal night , it is advisable to book on the first day when you embark on the ship because they fill up. you can always cancel if you change your mind .. just BE SURE YOU CANCEL as they sometimes charge you for NO shows. good luck. also, you may want to bring your own hair ormaments for an updo / barets rhinestone combs etc. because they mark these up to like 50.00 when you can buy a nice set at claires boutique or somewhere for 10.00 have a great time.

They're actually a little pricey. On my last cruise on Carnival a french manicure set me back $60 (not including tip)--I could get a manicure/pedicure combo for that at home. But the price isn't the biggest drawback...I have NEVER had a spa service on Carnival where they did not try to sell me some kind of super-expensive skin care product in the process. It takes all the fun and relaxation out of the service when you're getting a hard sell the whole time. My advice is get your spa treatments at home before you leave. BTW: I'm still a big fan of Carnival Cruises, the only problem I've ever had with them is the spa services. Enjoy your cruise!

Facials start at $109.
Full body massage start at $109 for 50 minutes
Stone massage $158
Hair $40 from!

Theese are just an average guideline. There are specials when the ship is in port if you arent on a tour maybe book a treatment as the people on tour will be getting off the ship 1st, and the ships door is only so big!!!!!
The specials of the day can be found in your Carnival Caper that is delivered to your stateroom every day, or ask at the spa what the special will be for the following day.

Enjoy

You can expect to pay about 1.5 times the cost of spa services on land. In general, the cost is about what you might pay in a hoity-toity day spa in a resort area. I don't know where you live, but a manicure on board is about $25-30 and they automatically add a 15% gratuity. They also push a lot of product at you. I never get a facial because they try to sell you stuff while you're trying to relax.

About 50% more than their land-based counterparts. The best time to do them is when the ship is in port. They offer specials then because most people are not onboard.
