7 Day Bermuda Cruise from Boston

2006 - On Oct 1 - Oct 8, lowest cost I found was $1316 (regular ocean view room)

2007 - On Jun 10 - Jun 17, highest price I found was $3867 (Superior Ocean view Stateroom)

The only thing not included is travel insurance. Usually, insurance ranges from 3% to 7% or total trip cost.

You don't need to fly anywhere because you can take a cruise from Boston.

Alot of the price depends on what month you are going and of course what ship. There are no travel agent expenses. The taxes should be in the final price. For example, Oct is usually very cheap because it is hurricane season and the kids are in school. If you look on yahoo, you will see that prices start as low as 399pp for an inside room. For a 5 day (with the taxes added, it comes out to about 550pp) Expect to pay about an extra $100pp for a window room. 7 day cruises are starting at 429 which comes out to about 560pp for an inside room. The better ships though cost a bit more. You may want to look at the size and age of the ship. The newer ships are usually larger and have more amenities and in many cases larger rooms. So, once you pay your 1100+ for the fare, then you have to start to consider other expenses. Are you staying in a hotel? Are you flying, if driving, where are you going to park your car. Many ports charge about 10-12 daily for parking. Then you have your onboard expenses. Standard and in most cases automated tipping for a 7 day cruise is 140. You are also expected to tip porters at the pier, tour guides, room service delivery etc. When you buy your cruise, all your food and most of the entertainment on ship is covered. However, the price does not include carbonated drinks and booze, expect a coke to cost about 1.75 and the drinks to be 5 and up. Also, the ships will have a casino and push the hell out of bingo. Then there is the gift shops, the duty free shops etc. Finally, you have your shore excursions. You will have to feed yourself in town unless you want to treck back to the ship to eat. Also, snorkling, scuba etc costs money. In a safe blace like Bermuda, you can book your tours independant of the cruise line and save money or just take local transportation if you know where you want to go. Bottom line, I usually spend about 2k on a cruise but for me, this includes gas driving from Atl to fla, hotel, casino money and scuba diving at a few ports.
