Well I have been on many cruises, and from experience the patch is the worst possible way to get rid of your seasickness...sure it works, but the side effects are even worse than what you are trying to get rid of...you will definitely not enjoy your cruise, the side affects are severe in most cases which include major thurst, stomach pains, migranes, and nausea....What i reccomend is the pill for severe sickness, and the wrist bands for mild sickness..here are some links that you can find the wrist bands:

And the pills:

I hope that this helps, and if you have any further questions, feel free to send me a message, ill be happy to help you with whatever I can = ] |

go to the doctor and ask for the patch. there is a small patch you place on your body and the medicine absorbs through skin . also there is a medicine you can buy over the counter called Dramamine . it is used for motion. i would ask your doctor for the patch / and it is always a good idea to make sure that you tell them what you take over the counter to make sure that it does not interact with anything else you might be taking. |

seabands...
no pills, no patches.
you can by sea bands at the ships shop, works like accupunture withouth the needle (do-in)... by far the best solution.
ginger is alright, but i for one cant stand the taste...
green apples are alrigjht as well, but sea bands are much better, trust me, worked onboard 10 years

There are many sea sick remedies out there. You will just have to try a few before you can be totally comfortable with the right one for you. I found the best way to overcome sea sickness is to keep really busy and don't panic. If you can't swim, take some lessons. A lot of people get motion sickness and they think it is sea sickness. There is a difference. Go and have some fun. |

If youre going on a cruise, go to see the nurse or doctor on board. They will give you a choice between a pill or a patch to help with your seasickness/motion sickness. Also, try to get a room that is centered from top to bottome and side to side on the ship. The more centered you stay the less swaying and movement you will feel! |

you can go by airplane, It is better. If you are going by boat, it is better to eat a little bit for the journey, and drink some pills (the pills that make you prevent from seasickness). That kind of pills will put you in tired and you will feel sleepy. Sleeping will make you forget seasickness. |

- medicinal sticker for behind your ears (Korea)
i've tried the 1st and the 3rd one...works wonders but dunno exactly where to get them from. |
