How will the rooms be on Norweigan cruise line?

I am going on a cruise on the Norwegian Dawn in June and there are 4 of us (myself included) staying in a room. We are getting a balcony room. When I went on the website it said there are 2 twin beds that convert to a queen or something but how is that possible that there are only 2 small beds for 4 people? I am not sure. Maybe there are 4? I am going on a Royal Caribbean cruise next month and I know that has 4 twin beds. Anyone know?

If you book a cabin to accommodate 4 people it will have a couple options for the two people who do not use the twin/queen beds. Some cabins have a pull down bed that either comes down from the ceiling or from a wall. Other cabins have a sofa bed that is opened at night to sleep the other two people. There is generally a curtain that you can pull across the cabin to separate the twin/queen from the other sleeping accommodations. You need to make sure that the cruise line assigns you a cabin that will accommodate 4 people; they generally do this automatically giving you a few options on available cabins.

did you say balcony for 4 on the Dawn? Are you sure it isn't a mini-suite? Make sure you check before you go. Either way, there will be a queen bed, and then a sofabed that's converted, but it'll be a bit cozy. Don't worry about it, just enjoy your cruise on this beautiful ship!

I'm going on the Norwegian Star in August to Alaska with my parents. I called about finding what the bed arrangements are, since I might be bringing my boyfriend. Apparently in the mini-suites, there are two twin beds which can be converted to a queen bed, as well as a double sofa bed. I was told that a rollaway will fit in there, but there are no pull down beds.

Where on the ship is your room located? Or what category is your room?

You might want to double-check your booking. The website is right, balcony rooms have a queen or 2 single beds. Inside cabins (those on the inside of the ship, with no windows) have bunk beds that fold out from the wall. Some only have one bunk bed, and a roll-away bed under one of the main beds.

If the four of you are staying in one room, you'll be in an inside cabin. Check your booking! Either way, it's a squeeze, but you'll spend very little time in your cabin - get out and have fun!
