There is not much of an age requirement - upwards - to work on cruise ships.
However, as mentioned before in one answer - it is not like- hey here I am, I am below 30 - so what job can you, the cruise line, give me.
The question is what you are qualified to do, what experience you have, how many years and where.
Age in this case is the least important - except for yourself, when you are used living by yourself for the past 8 years and suddenly you need to share a cabin again with one or more persons. |

That all depends on WHAT YOU CAN DO. Why is it you people ask these questions and you never say WHAT YOU CAN DO.. it's as if you think all cruise ship jobs are the same.
Without knowing WHAT YOU CAN DO.. it's impossible to say if you can be hired or not. |

I didn't start on ships until I was 30.
There really is no age bracket. For most positions you have to be at least 21. And you have to be able to pass the medical. |

yes, you can.
cruise ship are equal opportunity employer so age is not an issue. therefore, your success will depend on what you can do. sometimes you only need talent (like entertainers), experience (casino dealers) or skills (musicians). you also should able to acquire seafarers documents and valid working visas. good luck! |

It's never to late to give up on a dream...never. As for the age requirement it'll all depends on what position you are hoping to acquire, but at 26 still being in your prime is a perfect time to probably be able to fulfill all duties a ship might have to offer, if you are qualified to do so.
