there are so many reasons: first, its bloody expensive!!
i mean my sister is transferrin to a more expensive college
plus she's dormin n quit her job so money is soo tight!
then, i have to so my summer reading, i read one of the two books, but i just ordered the other book and it'll come in about 2 weeks.... the cruise is in 3 weeks and i have to write an essay comparing the books, and can't leave it til after, since its a weeek til school starts! my aunt said to bring my cbook on cruise but what the hell is the point of payin $2000 to read when i could do it at home for free??
and i have cross country practices
i already missed my first few weeks but they were optional but when the cruise starts i'll be missing like 10 practices!! and i'm really unfit so i'll be even more behind!!
also, i'm scared to death of drowning!! its my worst way to die!! i mean what if it sinks or somthing!! like its going from florida to jamaica so its where there is tropical weather

also, its a family cruise but i'm going with my cousins cousins, and we treat them like cousins but we all know its not true and my parents aren't even coming...
and whenever i do something my cousin looks and comments...like she's always telling me to dance but when i do dance (when i'm away from her) she's like 'omg ur dancing!! look!' and one time i'm doing sit-ups and she's just looking at me as if i'm weird like i'm sick of her always having an opinion or making a big deal
and she's my only real cousin which sucks
i dont know what to do!!!
like i said i didnt want to go but they boooked my ticket (my aunt) and we can't cancel
also i'm scared of making friends - i dont want to talk to my cousins cousins but there are like 30 pplz so i cant get away from them to talk to new pplz!

It is very relaxing to read on a cruise and you can still work out.As far as you family goes talk to other people there is plenty of room to do other activities and meet new people.And drowing, haha,don't go close to the edge!!And it won't sink I'm sure but I don't think it will matter what any one says to comfort you, you sound unapprieative and spoiled.You will never be happy and satisified so good luck.Give your aunt my number she can pay my cruise and me and your cusins can go instead!!!YEA |

Since you didnt specify what cruise line you are traveling with, im just going to presume it is one of the more commonly used ones i.e. ( Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Celebrity, Disney, etc.). As far as the reading goes, you will have ample time to relax and read your books while on the boat. You may even have time to write your essay! As far as maintaining good fitness, there are fitness centers and training facilities onboard the ships. The last cruise i went on, there was even a track you could run around the pools! And trust me you will not drown. Its just not probable. Cruises are meant to be fun, and let me tell you i havent ever had such a good time than being on a cruise! So trust me it was be a blast!! Just go and have fun, and as far as meeting people go, im 15, but my last cruise i was 14, and i met a girl, and i actually got to know her pretty good, and for the most part im a pretty shy person. Theres always good food and such on the cruise. Trust me there will be plenty of people you will meet. Just be yourself, and remember HAVE FUN! bon voyage! |

Well, depending on the cruise there are a lot of activities for teenagers so if you can get into them you will meet new people and be able to get away, for a time at least, from your cousins. You have less chance of drowning from the ship sinking than you do having a bath at home. As for reading, find a nice spot on the deck and settle in on a deck chair with your book, and relax. There are computers on board if you do not have a laptop although they can be expensive to use.
If you are worried about staying in shape most cruise lines have complete gyms on board so you should have no trouble exercising. Many also have a jogging track on one of the upper decks.
Is your aunt paying for the cruise or are your parents? If she is paying then there is no real cost to your family as food, and some beverages, are included in a cruise. |

I know you are venting, but once you get on the ship you will find cool things to do and you will probably meet other folks to hang out with or do your own thing.
There are lots of things to do on a ship by yourself. |

Trust me, once you board the ship, you'll forget all the bad stuff and enjoy yourself. You most likely will want to cruise again. The food is awsome. Everyone on board is cool. Stuffy people don't go on cruises. Just relax and tell yourself you're going to have a good time.
