I'm going on a cruise over spring break which is next week but i'm really scared how do i calm my fear?

It really does depend on what you are scared of. Are you scared of the water? If so, you need to remember that you are not the only person onboard this ship. They don't make ships that sink they make ships that float.

If you are scared of getting sick, be careful what you eat and drink. Don't drink or eat after anyone else, practice good hygiene and use your foot or your elbow to open or close doors.

If you are scared because there are so many people look at it as an opportunity to make new friends. There are others on board who are in the same position as you and are scared as well.

Check out Cruise Critic.com and become a member (free and easy to do). That qualifies you to be a member of the Cruise Critic group and you then qualify for Roll Call. Roll Call is simply finding out who else is going to be on the ship at the same time as you. You get to organize some activities that you do as a group and they go on a Cabin Crawl with the others that have signed up. You check out each other's cabins (tour). This is cool especially if someone in the group has a suite.

Cruise Critic also has reviews from others. Just remember that there is no pleasing some people and they will ALWAYS write bad reviews.

Think of the ship as a floating hotel or floating city.

You are going to have a good time. Try to remember that and you will have a good time.

dont worry about it when i was 10 we went on a cruise and i freaked but once you get on it feels like your in a little city you forget you are even on a cruise at sea!

There is absolutely nothing to be scared about, but if you take a car to the port, that is far more dangerous then a cruise ship.Maybe you are also just excited too. My first cruise, I could sleep well for the whole week before. Now it is just the night before. Trust me, once your on that big beautiful ship, you worries will immediately fade away.

get busy that the best way to calm. as in do not sit down idle. you should ask yourself whether you have ever got sea sick?!
