Mexico is a very pretty place to go!!!! I've been to Cozumel twice. There are different beaches that you can pay to go to. Some of them are "Florida style" which means that they have actual sand before the water starts. Some of the "beaches" however are just rocks then water. Like I said it's very pretty because the water has like 5 different shades of blue. There are also going to be a lot of little shopping areas as soon as you get off of the ship. I loved Mexico and you should too!!! :)

Cruise is fun but its a little bit hard to tell what to expect since you dont tell anything about your cruise line or ship.
But generally you could expect:
Loads of foods.
Meeting lots of people of all ages.
Fun in the sun on the ship sun deck.
A lot of enterteinment as shows.
Teen and youth clubs if youre a kid.
Interesting shore excursions in port of calls (but remember to watch out for pick pockers and other criminals).
One tip is to read through the ships daily programe (is given every evening to youre cabin). There you can find whats happening the next day.
Have fun and enjoy youre vacation! Johan.

The cruise to Mexico is wonderful. If you dock in Puerto Vararta it is just like being in an American city. They will have tours for you. There is shopping. Mazatlan was pretty much a waste of time, although we did find a neat little art gallery. There are plenty of shops that have all of the tourist stuff. If your cruise docks where you can do the Copper Canyon tour, I would encourage you NOT TO DO IT. It involves being on a tour for sixteen hours and spending one hour at the Canyon. There are other ways to be able to see the Copper Canyon. We did not go. The people as they returned said that they were treated very well, but the energy necessary and the cost was not worth it.
There is a cute little town we docked at north of LaPaz, a wonderful town, have Margaritas at the hotel. There is a beautiful lobby there as well. It is well worth spending time in this little town. There isn't too much to see in LaPaz
If you dock at Cobo San Lucas, this is a very American tourist destination. Enjoy shopping and being with the people. Or take a tour along the coast--snorkeling or enjoying the beautiful sea life.
If you are on the other side of Mexico, docking at Cozumel is interesting, it mainly has shopping where the ships are docked. Other than a quaint town. There didn't seem to be too much that interested me.
I hope this helps. I enjoyed the Mexican Riveria Cruise thoroughly.
