Carnival would be the best choice. - When I go on a Carnival ship the disco is crowded at 2:00 a.m. on other lines such as Royal Caribbean or Princess, there is only a few people there in the late hours.

Cruises always base their prices on "per person based on double occupancy". The single rate is generally 150% the cruise fare. So you will be paying a good deal more, but you will have privacy.

Check out Carnival cruises. It's hard to recommend a specific destination because I don't know where you will be flying from. But all my single friends love Carnival cruise line. Pick a big ship with lots of things to do. You will meet many people and this is where you will have a fun time.

Have a great trip

I've been both Royal Caribbean and Carnival. Carnival is young adults looking to party. If you want a good time and a fun atmosphere, hit up a Mexican cruise on a Carnival Fun Ship.

Where are you cruising from?

In the UK Island cruises and Ocean Village are very good for this as they are very relaxed and aimed at the younger generation. Costa are also a good company. Carnival and Roayl caribbean are good choices for the states.

I am going on a Carnival Cruise for the same reason only I am going on a 3day first (less money) to see if it's really what I am looking for. You should check it out-they are cheap and Carnival Sensation is a 3 night cruise out of Port Canaveral (near Orlando, FL).

Okay, so I've only been on two cruises. I would have to say that the first cruise that I went on was the best one. That one was actually a brand new ship, it was by Carnival.....it was pride. The second one I went on, there was four of us in a room the size of a one person bedroom!!! That was Royal Carribean, and I have to say that one, the shipped kind of sucked! The rooms on Carnival pride were much nicer and plus, there were clubs on there that were pretty great. So that's my opinion, then again.....I've only been on two cruises!

carinval cruise would be great for your type of age they have clubs and casinos and stuff

I would recommend you look at Carnival and the destinations in Eastern or Western Caribbean. Carnival is a good cruise line for those that like to party and seem to keep clubs open longer at night to party and gear a lot of the activities towards the younger set.

One thing to keep in mind, as I have done it as well, is cruising single you will pay for single surcharge. The cruises are priced as based on "double occupancy", which means if you see a price for $495, that means you will pay a surcharge of about double that for your cruise (actually cruise may be around $700-$800). In simple means, that means if two of you were in the same cabin, you'd each pay $495, or $990 for the cruise. But since there is just one of you in the cabin, you get charged a little for not having 2 but not the full charge.

going alone? why not invite a friend to go to share cost and its more fun with a buddy but for partying carnival is your best bet ships not too clean from what i read and food not the best but they do party .good luck

I would recommend Carnival. My parents (although this was a while back) actually met on a Carnival cruise. LIke I said this was a while back but when they went they were both in this singles group on the ship. This group had its own director who planned fun activities and shore excursions. I dont know if they still have groups like this on cruises but it wouldn't hurt to contact a travel agent and ask if they know about anything like this. I know that being in this group was a lot of fun for my parents and they have been happily married for 20 years now!
Good Luck in your search and from someone who has been on quite a few cruises...just enjoy yourself!

I highly recommend Royal Carribean-- and, looking through the other answers, you have alot of choices! I saw alot of Carnival, but research shows that Carnival cruises have the most fires and other dangers than any other cruise line. Way back when, my grandmother took a Carnival cruise and it was horrible! They had a very displeasing welcome lunch, and the emergency drill was very strange..... The staff said in an emergency, go back to your room, get your life jacket, and meet back in this auditorium for further instructions. The ship would be gone by then!!!

Last summer, I took a Royal Carribean cruise with my family; it was GREAT! I highly recommend any Royal Carribean ship, just stay away from Carnival!
