$500 for 2 people? I think you need to consider a different vacation, perhaps something VERY close to home.

Realisticly a cruise is going to cost about $1000 per person (low estimate) by the time you figure booking, taxes, port fees, shore expenses, and travel.

Unfortunately your situation is not going to make it easy to find an inexpensive cruise for two. To get a really good rate you will need some flexibility on when you travel and you may need to dig up a little more money.

Visit vacationstogo.com to find the best available deals and keep checking, prices fluctuate and you can find some awesome deals. Also check to see if you qualify for any of the special discounts. If one of you is a veteran, police officer, firefighter, or teacher then you may qualify for some great discounts. I found a 7 night cruise on Costa Cruises for $299 per person for veterans, and you only need to have served 2 years to qualify.

The biggest key is flexibility, if you can find a cruise that you can afford you have to be flexible to go when it is. I have gotten 5 day/4 night cruises for as low as $149 per person, but we had to go in February, not the prime time for a vacation. But we had a great time and it got us hooked on cruising.

In any case, good luck!

Come to my house. Ill set you up with a tandem bike with a foamcore boat design you can wear over your shoulders, and take you to the deepest darkest mysterious drug infested alleys of Baltimore.
I promise it will be a vacation you will be talking about the rest of your life.

Go online and search at www.google.com for discounts on your cruise line or contact your travel agent.

You might be able to find something on Carnival, but $500 for two is EXTREMELY low, especially for that time of the year.

Call Cruise Planners at 888-286-9827, they're a travel agent that specializes in cruises and they might be able to help you out. But given your budget, a cruise may not be an option...

My wife and I are Travel Agents for

"Amazing Tours and Travel"
It is part of the Your Travel Biz (YTB) Travel Network.

You can find cruises on our website for less than $500 per person (taxes included), but you will have to stay in an inside stateroom. The costs covers lodging and meals. The ship will have plenty of activities and other fun things to do.

On the travel site, on the row of columns go to "cruises" then down to "book a cruise"

The have fantastic prices for trips from Florida to the Bahamas or Long Beach/San Diego to Mexico.

The cruises at this price usually go for 3-4 nights.

It would also be best if you and your traveling companion could save some extra money between now and July. It may mean giving up the movies, eating out or shopping. Sometimes if you want something bad enough, it requires sacrifice.

If you need help please email me at cfkgrob@yahoo.com.
We would love be able to make your cruise dreams come true.

Please check out our travel site below.

Thank you and have a great day.

Okay, first you need to be 21 years of age to travel on a cruise ship. (2)I would need some back ground information to get you a cheap cruise (3) Are you traveling by yourself or with a friend or family. There is a couple of cruises in mind, but I would need you to email me direct so I can help. I would do this here, but I would rather not. I have been a travel agent for 7 years and have traveled on all the cruiselines. I can be reached at dena@thecruiseplanner.com
