Carnival again is fine but you could also look at Celebrity if you are wanting to upgrade your cruising experience.
Good Luck!

I've only cruised Carnival as well (Mexico). Can I come too?..I really need a vacation!

Try Norwegian....Disney is OK but all the Disney themes get to you after a while. If I wanted Mickey and Cinderella, I would've gone to Orlando.

Try Royal Caribbean, there ships are huge and offer lots of activities. On some ships they offer things like rock climbing walls, ice skating rinks, flow rider surf simulators, and movie theaters. They have good western and southern caribbean itineraries.

I'm a travel agent. Carnival is what I cruise and I really like it. I would suggest an Eastern Caribbean Itinerary which goes to the Virgin Islands, if you have not already taken that sailing. Setting sail in November on an 7 Day Exotic Eastern Caribbean is the NEW CARNIVAL SPLENDOR!!..It is amazing! And if you are really trying to find some R&R or looking for a romantic gettaway then I would suggest booking the Cloud 9 Spa Accomodations located on decks 10, 11, & 12. Booking these staterooms allow for private access, special amenities, and priority reservations at the two deck high Cloud 9 Spa. Since you are a past guest of Carnival you will be invited to a private coctail party and offered other amenities. The Splendor also has the Seaside Theatre. You may also be able to get a discounted rate or free upgrades just for being a loyal customer to Carnival. You can find out more by visiting http://www.carnival.com/splendor.
Another wonderful option would be Royal Caribbean's Freedom or Liberty of the Seas (the largest ships at sea). They feature alot of fun activities such as ice skating, rock climbing, 3 story Promenade, H2O waterpark, a surf simulator and much more. They set sail out of Florida on 7 day Caribbean Cruises. They do however, carry more passengers than Carnival's ships. You can visit their website at http://www.royalcaribbean.com.
I did find some Gay Friendly Cruise Itineraries close to your time of sailing:
Royal Caribbean's Serenade of the Seas is setting sail from LA and stopping at the ports of Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, & Cobo San Lucas. This is the 6th Annual Atlantis Mexican Riviera Cruise. October 18-26, 2008.
You can take the Freedom of the Seas (RCL) January 25-February 1, 2009 from Miami to Labadee, San Juan & St. Maaten. This is Atlantis' annual January cruise.
You can find out more about these at http://www.gay.com/travel. Hope this helped and as always please return the favor =).
If you would like more help planning your vacation or selecting the perfect cruise for the two of you then please give me a call and we can find the perfect itinerary, ship, and price for you. I would be more than happy to help! Call me.

Yes, try Royal Caribbean. They are reasonably priced and offer something for everyone. You can try checking out the difference cruise lines websites for sailings that are "themed" toward specific groups or activities such as country music, soap operas, gay, etc. But I wouldn't worry too much about the gay thing (I sense that you are concerned) - there are so many people on the ship that everyone just blends. Go and have a great time!!

kikime
You should find one that goes to the Virgin Islands! My sister lives down there! It is sooooo beautiful!
Don't some lines offer a gay only cruse?

There are too many unanswered questions to do a proper recommendation for you. For instance, what is your age range? What is your budget? How long do you want to go for? Do you like beaches? Do you like to shop? See a travel agent. A good one will ask you these questions and probably even more. Only then can a proper suggestion be made.
