On some cruise lines, yes! Most cruises include all of your food in the price of the cruise. This price does not, however, include your drinks. Included beverages are usually tea, fruit juices, milk, and water. Sodas and alcoholic beverages are extra, and let me tell you, the sodas are VERY expensive. Oh and don't remove or drink the beverages that the maid service leaves in your room! If you do, they charge them to your room!!

On Carnival, you get what's called a Sign & Sail card before you get on the boat. This card is linked to one of your debit or credit cards. You then use the Sign & Sail card to make purchases on the boat (such as alcoholic-beverages, souvenirs, or basically anything you pay for while on the boat). They charge all these items to your account at the end of the cruise.

The price of Carnival cruises includes a seated breakfast, lunch and dinner for every full day you are on the boat. If you don't want to go to the seated lunch, you have the option of going to one of the other restaurants on the boat, which are usually buffet and have a different theme every day (American, Italian, Mexican, etc...). The boat I was on did have a 24 hr pizzeria and 24 hr ice cream!

Hope this helps!

Most cruise lines offer some kind of food round the clock. A typical offering is three sit-down meals in the dining room (breakfast, lunch, dinner), a sumptious midnight buffet, and 24-hour room service (often limited to simple fare like pizza, sandwiches and breakfast items). On top of all that, there are usually additional various food opportunities around the ship - a hamburger counter, deli, snack bar, pizzeria, casual buffet, etc. though their hours are limited. Of course, you would want to check to see the exact offerings on the cruise line you are considering, but what I have described above is common on the major lines. All the food is included in the price of the cruise, but drinks (sometimes even soft drinks) are extra. I assure you, you won't go hungry on a cruise!

Generally, this is true. But each Cruise line is somewhat different.

We just got back from the Western Carribean on Norweigian Cruise lines. We did not like it much. To get drinks you had to buy a $40 pass per person and get refills of soda and water and such at the bars in carry around containers. It was horrible. We did not buy the pass as we dont drink soda much. So we had to go to the Buffet to get ice tea and coffee and it was in the back of the ship.

Just remember, everything costs money on a cruise ship and you can easily spend double your ticket price. Here is how:
EXTRAS:

Alcoholic drinks
bottled water
snacks
gift shop items (toiletries, jewelry, collectibles)
Tipping (mandatory)
Photos (taken all over ship and each time you get off)
Bingo and Games (expensive)
Gambling (on board Casino)
Drinks in Showrooms (even cokes will cost here)
Off-Shore Excusions (one at each port, $50 to $150 each)
Money for Off-Shore Shopping

Some ships allow pizza and snacks all night and others do not. Before you book read the Ships website well. We found that Carnival allowed more free eatting at any time but Norwiegan did not. We could only eat late at the buffet area and after 10pm they take the buffet down and offer hot dogs and sweets.

We had more fun on Carnival. It was a younger crowd with more to do.

Carnival Cruise lines offers a 24-hour pizzeria. It is walk-up service, not buffet.

On our last cruise, my oldest daughter ate pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

They have basic pizza as well as gourment style.

Most cruise lines offer some sort of food 24 hours a day. The more upscale ones will offer everything except alcohol for free (including the specialty restaurants). Some will make you pay additional for these restaurants as well as room service.

Whatever cruise line you take, make sure you find out first what is included in your price. You don't want to be hit with a large bill at the end of your cruise. Remember to add in tips.

Yes that is true, all food besides the special dining and pop is included in the price. Not all cruises pizza is open 24 hours, but there is always somewhere to get food, 24 hours of the day. Some cruises, have sushi bars and sundae bars. And its all included, score!!

All cruise lines have the three standard meals, plus plenty of placeds to get food after the restaurants close. You can always order free room service 24/7. Some ships/cruise lines no longer do the midnight buffet every night. It may be one or two nights of a 7 day cruise. But you will not go hungry. At dinner, or any meal, you can order two entres, like two lobster if you want. The will bring whatever is on the menu and as much as you want.

You betcha! Different lines offer different 24 hour options! But I think they all have some sort of free 24 hour food option!
