Your other option is the ship transfer to the airport. They will tote your luggage from the terminal to the motor coach and deliver you right to the departure gate. Once you've found the price of a taxi you can compare to cost and the hassle factor. I prefer to just pay the cruise ship to get me to the airport.

I think it will be cheaper to take a taxi because you might end up paying more. Not sure though what you mean exactly. You could ask some one at this website's forum maybe. Lot of cruise junkies around.

a taxi is around 30-80$
but a shuttle is around 15$

Really about the same. The taxis have a set fare to the airport. The only difference is that some hotels offer free shuttles to the port if you stay there beforehand. Usually an airport shuttle is going to charge exactly the same as a taxi since they are all in line at the same place.
It depends on how many people you have in your group. If you are by yourself though, a taxi will leave with you immediately and a shuttle will wait until it at least has so many people in it. As I'm usually one of the last off the ship (my color always seems to be called last), it doesn't matter and I don't book my flight right close to departure time anyway. But if you do, a taxi is probably best so you make sure you aren't late getting back to the airport
