I will let you know in August. We are going at the end of July.

We went on a Honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas and had a blast! Don't remember too much outside the cabin tho....

I absolutely love cruises, there's so much to do on a cruise, you meet great people, you can go partying every night, the food is absolutely marvelous, {depending on the cruise line}there's all kinds of entertainment daily, the Alaskan cruise is gorgeous as well, and you can even shop if you like. and as the last person said, you only unpack once, that's great too! Go and enjoy and have a chocolate desert for me, o.k?

Cruising is my favorite way to travel, I absolutely love it. It's fun, the food is great, there is entertainment, you get pampered the whole time. It is well worth the money that you spend.

Alaska is one of my favorite destinations for a cruise, it is beautiful. The sites are so amazing, it is something you will never forget.

For an Alaskan cruise, I really think it is worth it to upgrade to the verandah. It costs a little more, but you will get some amazing views and you have a private area to go out on while docking and things, it is really nice.

Alaska cruises are a little more popular among slightly older people, but I love them, they are wonderful. Princess is a really great line for Alaska cruises, if you are wanting a ship with fewer kids and more adults (mostly seniors) Holland America would be a good choice.

I don't think that you would regret a cruise to Alaska. They are wonderful!

My husband and I took an Alaskan cruise summer of 2004 and visited Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway. We loved it. It was a bit touristy at times, but we got to see things we would never have seen before. We learned about the goldrush and the politics behind the railways in Alaska. The whales and eagles and landscape were awesome. You get all the food you can eat on Nowgegian cruise line (the one we took but there are others of course) and sometimes they have specials as low as $500 for an entire week. We're very glad we did it.

i've been on a cruise from jakarta-singapore
it was amazing!
the cruise was so beautiful
cinema, casino, theater, restaurants, bars, clubs, rooms, swimming pools, spas, etc all in one place
you should go!
you wont have a 'seasick', because you wont feel a thing in that big cruise!

went on a cruise a few years ago, everyone on the boat got sick...puke everywhere...then the crew washee down everything with bleach, clothes ruined, food barely possible, weather terrible and several stops/activities cancelled because of weather leaving us stuck on puke-filled boat...best story though (i smoked at the time) was third morning, the weather cleared...i got up early and went on the deck...we had one of those really big state rooms at the back of the boat...so i'm sitting there and watching the sun come up and think everything is gonna turn around now...so i light up the cigarette and just then i hear the sound of water gushing...i look around but nothing...all of a suddent torrents of water pour down on me from the upper deck...the crew was washing the upper deck and hadn't bothered to see if anyone was below them...i was drenched...i get up still holding the soggy cigarette...walk back inside and get back into bed...my wife says..."what happened to you?"...i don't want to talk about i told her

cruises are great just check out the itineraries of the day and pick what looks like fun so you dont miss it. They keep you real busy if you want to be. And you dont have to do anything. You eat like a king.

Good luck and God Bless!!

I have taken 2 cruises, however they were both in the Caribbean. I am not sure how old you are but most people who take the Alaskan cruises are 60+ years old.
I think cruises in general are a lot of fun and good value for the money. You can do as much or as little as you want and you only have to unpack once.
