If you are bilingual, and don't mind working seven days a week for months on end without a day off, and dealing with a lot of people who think that you are there to serve them exclusively. Don't get me wrong. I have talked with a lot of staff on my cruises that love it. You just need to have the right mindset to do the job. That is why there are very few Americans who work on cruiseships. And most of them are on the entertainment staff. |

Norwegian is begging for people for their all american crews. They have a hard time keeping them. The cruise lines belive in long hours and low pay. Thats why they rely on third world labor. |

yes you can, just make sure your passport is up to date and try and get a job in the gift shop
it's the easiest job on board as they are only open when at sea
after that try for an activities position it's long hours but fun
try and stay away from cabin stewart,dinning room, laundry or kitchen jobs those are endlessly tiring and boring even better if you have talent and can sing or dance...good luck!! |
