I have a couple of questions about the cruise I am going on (Royal Caribbean).?

1.) I am 14, and I know that the age range for the teen club is 12-14 and 15-17, and 14 is the worst age to be at in this situation. haha. So do you think that when they check my age, if I tell them 15 they will be able to find out that I'm 14? Like simply by looking at my information or something?

2.) I am going with my dad and this is my first cruise (Liberty of the Seas) I know it would be easier if I came with a friend or something so that we could hang out together at the teen club. But it will just be me and my dad, so do you think it would be hard for me to blend with the other teens since I don't have anyone with me?? Like hang out with them. I know its a confusing question. haha

When you get on the ship, they'll give you a SeaPass card, and that lets you do basically anything on the ship. I know that if you're in the teen age group, you get a different-looking card than the adult card, but I don't know for sure if there's a unique card for the 12-14 age group and the 15-17 age group. Probably not. You might as well try telling them you're 15 and see what happens. What can they do to you? :) Anyway, I completely understand how 14 is the worst age to be at, because you'll be grouped with *12* year olds!! Ew!

If you're shy, it might be hard for you to break the ice. As a 17 year old on a cruise with only my mother, it was hard for me to even consider going into the teen club by myself. However, if you just take that leap of faith, you'll have plenty of friends in no time, and that will make the cruise so much more fun. The cruise people have so many events and stuff just for teens- scavenger hunts, dances, Wii and Playstation tournaments, rock climbing races, and more!

HAVE FUN!!!

I can help you out!! I've been in the same situation! Okay:

1). You don't have to lie about your age. They will let you go to the older age group! A family we know had a 13 year old who wanted to move up with her sister who was 15 and they let her. So they will let you. On the first day go to the orenitation thingy and ask the adventure ocean staff if you can. They are all about pleasing you so im sure it wont be a problem!

2). Don't worry about it!! It is soo easy to make friends in the teen groups! Believe it or not but almost every kid there will be in the same predicerment as you! It is really easy. You play a lot of games or you can just hang out. I made lots of new friends there and so have others we've known. You'll make friends as long as your friendly and enjoy yourself!!

Have fun!!! You'll have a GREAT time!!! Good luck!

TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only
This is just my opinion but they cruise line is in the business of making sure that you have a good time. If you are 14 and you go in the teen club and act like the rest of the kids who are 6 months or so older they will not kick you out and say you cannot participate. When I did walk through the teen club once the kids were having a great time and no one was standing at the door checking ID's to make sure you were old enough. It's not like going into a place where you do have to be a certain age to drink alcoholic beverages. The teen club has beverages that any kid can have. So there is no reason to kick anyone out and I am pretty sure that they will not deny you access. So go and have a great time.

1) You should be able to get away with that. Although they might swipe your wristband which may have your age attached. But if they say no, they aren't going to kick you off the cruise or anything, they'll just say no. and you can go to the other one.

2) Hang out at the pool/arcade those dance parties. you'll make friends in no time. You'll have a great time. Don't worry! and have a great time on your cruise. I hope you know how lucky you are to get to go on one! lol

Fish are friends, not food (:
1.) No idea sorry):
2.) no it wont ! lol. I went on a cruise(dinsey) and i went with a bunchhh of family. Two of them were younger then me (13 years old) but anyway, i met new people, even when I wasnt with them. It wont be hard(: Theres prob. alot of teens who go without people (:
