Mediterranean, start in Venice, most romantic city in the world, Rome, Athens etc: Great Cruise, I've done it with Princess. Most memorable cruise we've had.

El Conquistador
Depends where you are from different locations have different destinations. unless you plan to fly to a certain place then catching the ship .Even then its still hard to say. Any place cruise ships go are good. you'll have a romantic time on the ship while heading to your destination. Mexico,Jamaica& ? i cant remember the other location is nice....

Tough question to answer as really not enoug information.

How long do you want to cruise for? A short cruise will take you to the Bahamas. A longer cruise could take you around the world

What country do you want to depart from?

And do you want a port intensive cruise or a cruise with a lot of relaxing sea days?

It depends on where you are. the Mediterranean or Hawaii perhaps. What about the Bahamas? But I do not think you can beat Rome.

Take a Mississippi River cruise.

Hmm... depends on your definition of fun and romantic. =)

For my money, the Caribbean on a high quality cruise line is the way to go. I think that great weather and beaches are fun, and as for romance ... well, room service, great restaurants and a really nice cabin go a long way.

While I enjoy cruises to Alaska, Europe, etc., they're really more about the destination. That could be distracting from the time you want to spend together.

FYI, the Caribbean is also the best value for your money.

You might want to check out the "savvy" guide to Choosing a Cruise: http://www.cruisesavvy.com/savvyguide/choosing_your_cruise
it explains the different options, and how to pick the right one depending on what YOU care about the most.

Hope that helps!
