If you are going to the formal dinner, make sure that you have a jacket and tie. It's very classy and you don't want to arrive underdressed.

All of the food is free. When I went, there was a man at my table that ordered three plates of food. However, drinks, except for fruit juices and water, are not free. A bottle of Coke is about what $1.75.

Each island or place that you visit will have excursions. These cost a good amount...well, some do and some are well priced. However, most of the time you will have to catch a taxi to visit some of the places at your stop. The best thing to do is to get a group of people and all go together because the taxis drivers will charge more if it is just you.

The biggest expense that you may have is tip that you leave. Most of the people on the ship, the waiters, the people that look after your room, don't get paid. Their pay depends on what tip you leave. And like a restuaruant, you leave an amount that you think they deserve. On your last night there, you will be given a form that asks what you'd like to leave as a tip and then you leave it in your room.

Make sure that you bring your prop ID's (driver license, birth certificate, Passport, etc.). If you do not bring your ID's, you wont be allowed on the boat and you wont get any money back.

When you go out, take small bills. I'd say nothing bigger than a $20. If you buy something from street vendors, for say $3, and you give them a $5, they wont give you change most of the time. Bring enough small bills for purchases.

Depending on how long your cruise is, I'd say bring about $700-$1000. This will cover drinks, souveniers, excursions, and tips. It's better to bring more than you need to to not have enough. Have fun.

DUDE you have to go you'll have soooooooooooo much fun i went on the royal carribean OMG it was like the best time i had in my life..... you only have to be 18 to drink and they got clubs on the cruise ship its so much fun..... you dont need any money for food cuz its all covered, i would to the resturant at like 3 in the morning and order ANYthing i wanted, and they have to give it to you. The only money you need is to my alcohol or cigarettes. Also your gonna need money for when you stop at the islands. ALWAYS go to the scocial events and meet people, theres alot of cool guys, and HOTTTT girls. i hooked up with two of them in a week duration! it was awesome..... they also tend to give it up more cuz they know they can get away with it yanno?? its gonna be fun... go to clubs and social events.... be treated like a king literally HAVE FUNNN LUCKY! UGH!!!!!! j/k be safe

You need to have a minimum of 200 or 250 available on a credit card to cover drinks(unless you bought a drink package), port excursions that you can schedule on the ship, towels, and other incidentals on the ship because there are no cash transactions except making change for tipping your care crew/staff. Whatever amount you think you'll need for souvenirs and cash port excursions.

It all depends on what your preferences are and where your port stops are. There are a slew of different things to do at each port. From ATV tours to scuba diving.. I would take at least 400 bucks.

get all things ready! and be careful!
