from Royal Carribean International. You have to set up an appointment, and go to a seminar to get your free tickets. On the phone they say all you have to pay for is taxes and port fees. Is anyone familiar with this? A friend of mine got one and is very excited. My husband wants to go but I'm a skeptic, I say nothing is free and if so, why the seminar? |

I agree with you, nothing is free. Lets not forget you have to get to the port of departure and i am sure that is not free. A free cruise, free seminar-they are spending alot of money to give away a free trip. No one could stay in business doing that. Theres a hitch, you probably dont find out until after all arrangements have been made. See what your friend says when she gets back from her trip. |

i would be skeptical. THe seminar is probably for time shares. TAXES and Port charges might for the two of you be some where in the neighborhood of 100.00 or more. Plus you might have to pay for the airline ticket. Is it worth the trouble and time?

I would wonder too. If you have to attend a seminar to get the tickets, they are going to try to sell you something. I won a vacation from the credit union where I financed two cars, I didn't have to go anywhere, I just mailed in my certificate and got my vacation. |

This is for a time share. They will not pay your airfare either. Don't bother going. |

I think you are true. They may charge you the ticket with in the taxes. Be careful with such type marketing tricks. |

I never been to one-but know people that have.
NOTHING IS FREE.
If you want to go on a cruise, go to a travel agent. Pick the type of cruise you would like to go on. |

They want to sell you a time share. Go for the seminar, get the ticket and don't take the time share. I have done it, its great, as long, as you don't get sucked in by their sales rands. Be strong, or you end up with a worthless investment. |

I've heard those things are a rip off. Don't forget that port fees could run you up to $100 per person per port. |
