me and my fiance are going through the same things right now, and what we have found to be the best thing for right now is to just save youre change, also something we do and it adds up pretty quickly is for instance if we think we might like to rent a movie then we decide not to then we take that money that we would have spent and place it in the jar with the mentality that we felt we didnt need the money for bills anyway so we probably would have just blown it. also if youre up for it you could always donate plasma just an idea |

This is a travel forum....I actually think this question should be posted in finances. We are here to answer questions about travel not money.
But anyway.......you are not going until next April which gives you plenty of time to save. Open up a savings account and put $25 each paycheck into it. This will add up very fast. Have a yard sale. Offer to do some odd jobs or yard work. Selling on ebay as mentioned earlier is a good idea too, especially if you are busy alot already. SAVE SAVE SAVE!!! Are you getting money from the president this year or an income tax return?????? If so, put it in a savings account and use it next year! |

do work during the summer, one good way is to cut lawns during summer, rake leafs in fall and shovel snow in the winter, from today start a piggy bank and try to get 10 dollars in it every week, also why don't you join the toronto star, all you have to do is subscribe the newspaper and you get commission they say you could get upto $350 per week. |

Find something people you know don't like doing for themselves and offer to do it for them for a reasonable rate. Also, metal prices are high right now if you can get your hands on some.
