You'll have a great time if you like to relax in the sun. There is probably a teen club as the other person mentioned. There will be dances and such at night just for others your age. There will probably be a movie theatre with movies running often. There will be big shows each night you can attend, like comedians, musicals, acrobats, etc.

You can lounge by the pool and there will probably be some fun pool games to watch or participate in.

Depending on the line, you may or may not have lots of announcements for art auctions & bingo. Don't go. :-)

Don't expect to be able to drink without your parent by your side, if you were thinking about that.

I've heard Ensanada is boring and not to expect much. Cabo should be fun-the beaches are very cool.

Your room will likely be small unless the family has sprung for something fancy.

There will be internet access (with your own computer or one of the ships) but it's expensive.

Cruise Critic is a great website to visit & browse all the message board postings & reviews of your ship/itinerary.

Have a great time-I love cruising!

If you get off the ship be prepared to be followed around all day by people who want you to buy something from them, and they don't leave you alone. I pretty much hated every minute off the ship, but on the ship was great.

There is a teen club. You can meet kids your own age. You may never see your family if you like.
Pizza parties..teen shore excursions..etc etc.

Or you can hang out by the pool..
The stops have lots of shopping...beaches...
Take a look at the shore excursions offered with the cruise lines and you will see what the destinations have to offer.
Or go on line and plug in each destination in search and find fun stuff to do.

Stay with yer peeps!! We took walkie talkies and that way we could keep in touch. It can be easy to lose people if you are all having fun in a busy place.
Dont ever miss your departure time, it can cost you up to $3000 to catch up with the ship at next port.
Never try to take drugs like smoke back onto a ship, they will get ya.

Have fun, spend your day at the pool watchin chicks!

An excellent place to learn more is at cruisecritic.com. You can even get in touch with other people going on your same cruise. Click on boards, joining is free, click on Roll Calls, find your cruise line, then your ship, then your sail date. You'll have a blast. They will even play Mariachi music when you arrive at one of the ports. Bon Voyage!!!
If you're going with Carnival, be sure and try the chocolate melting cake. It's available every evening in the main dining room.
