In the Grand Cayman's you can snorkel, really more like stand with the sting rays. It is the only place in the Caribbean that you can feed wild sting rays. Other ports have it but they are in an enclosure. Here you are actually in the ocean on a huge sand bar. The water is about 3-5 feet deep. If you don't care about the sting rays definitely appreciate some of the clearest waters in the Caribbean so either hang out on one of the beaches, go snorkeling, scuba diving, etc. |

It's cheaper for the ship - if they pull into port, they have to pay port fees. But on a typical cruise, there is usually a day or two at sea, so your itinerary doesn't sound unusual. Enjoy it, and have fun! |

be prepared to eat a lot of awesome food like six meals a day, party anyway you like without even leaving the boat i.e. comedy clubs, dance clubs, maritini bars., beach parties at the pool, etc. etc....but one word of advice for when you get off the boat at your 2 destinations beaware of the local merchants and there BS stories trying to get your money. |

I am not sure. THey have different destinations..It might have something to do with expenses but probably more so ,,interests..
Also , something fairly new in the news. I was told they are recently having lots of trouble with drugs in that country. The drug dealers are trying to get even with police and people that are ruining their deals. There have been lots of problems and it might be a concern to the cruise lines...I just heard this last night,one of husbands friends were there and said it's scarey and if he had known ,he wouldn't have gone.

stay up for the midnight buffet!!! i missed them on my carnival cruises because we were out all day and exhausted. just do as much as u can. try to get a taxi and go to where the local natives are and buy their goods. go to the shows on the ship, take pictures in the lounge areas on board, have a blast! |
