In your opinion which is the best cruise line to go on?

This is the kind of question where every answer's likely to be different: there are so many cruise lines, each with their own style. Which is the 'best' depends on what you like, where you want to cruise to, and what kind of holiday you want.

I've been on more than a dozen cruises, with six different lines so far, and loved every one.

My all-time favourite was with SeaDream Yacht Club aboard SeaDream I. It was amazingly romantic, with about a hundred passengers; very laid-back; very 'I own the yacht' (total pampering). Heaven for hopping from one perfect Caribbean beach to another with no other cruise ships for miles.

But I've also had a fantastic time with Princess Cruises (aboard Emerald Princess), on a Mediterranean cruise with my family. The itinerary was fab -- Princess has a reputation for picking good ports of call -- the children loved the kids' activities and I have to say that the Lotus spa is blissful.

Other thoughts... ?

* Carnival's generally best for price.

* Royal Caribbean's probably the best for eye-popping ships -- it always seems to be a step ahead with new amazing things (climbing walls, ice rinks, surfing zones, you name it... )

* Cunard's got to be best if what you want is a real old-world transatlantic liner experience -- but only if you can afford Grill Class (the top of Queen Mary 2's three travel classes).

at this time Carnival is the best for what we want, and that is a family cruise at a low price with out giving up on service, we are spoiled on every cruise we go on.

however in the end there is not really bad cruise, just different, as I know some who will on us one or the other and one friend who likes to use a different line every time

Everyone has their different reasons for each cruise lines. They are all good depending on what you are looking for. I have been on 22 cruises and the 1 cruise line everyone says is the Best for food is Holland. I like Norwegian for the casual dress and the layout of the ships. Princess for cruisetours to Alaska.
Take alittle time and research where you want to go & prices. They will all get you there is just a matter of what you like. Enjoy.

I am not cruise line loyal. I choose whichever ship goes to the ports I am interest in visiting and always a ship with a 4.5 star rating or higher. I have been on Carnival 3 times, Princess 1 time and planning a Celebrity one next.

"Best" is totally subjective and depends on what you're looking for at a particular time. It's like asking which car is best....

im only 15 and im addicted to cruises

ive been on 5 so far and im going on another carnival cruise this year !!!
