In your opinion which place would you rather take a cruise to, and which cruise line would you take? |
Here are the choices. I am trying to decide where to go next year for our anniversary. Pueto Rico, Jamaica, Cancun, or the virgin Islands? we want to go on a fun cruise with a lot of things to do and good food. |

I have taken several cruises in the last few years. My choice would be the newer class of Celebrity Liners to sail the Mediterranenan. This would be even better if you pick iitineraries which also cover the Greek Islands. |

I just got back from a cruise with Carnival in September. It was an Eastern Caribbean 7-nighter, and the first one I took. My friends and I are mid-twenties, and we thought there would be more of a nightlife on the cruise. Apparently the 'quieter cruises' go to St. Thomas, Grand Turk, etc., and the ones that are more lively go to Jamaica. I heard the Jamaica cruises are really fun!
Doesn't matter much, cause we loved our cruise anyway! The Carib. was fun, beautiful and relaxing. Oh, and our cruise combined the Virgin Islands with a stop at San Juan, Puerto Rico. I had another friend who went on a cruise to Mexico/Central America with Carnival, and she loved their excursions--Mayan Ruins and such. More history and touristy things to do besides lounging on the beach.
On our boat, Carnival had a casino, a theater for song & dance shows they put on, and comedy acts. And eating 24/7! We never went hungry and the food was tasty. |
