Is It True, 21 for A Cruise? |
The cruise my fiance and I would like to go on for our honeymoon requires me to be 21. Well, I will barely be 20, but out travel agent said to bring a copy of the marriage license. Does that mean by 2 marriage license and bring one and mail one in (here we have 7 days after the purchasing of the license to mail it in, so I can't bring the original) or do I just photocopy it? |

I believe your travel agent means for you to bring a copy of your marriage license. This is proof to the cruise company that you are married and therefore an execption to the rule of being 21 to cruise without a older person with you. I'm sure you can see why they have a 21 or older rule. Can you imagine what a mess a bunch of college students would make on a cruise ship? Congrats on your up and coming marriage. |

call the county where it is out of and request 2-5 copies. Same as you would a birth certificate. Bring that or have them mail it directly to your travel agent.

Yeah, just have your marriage license with you (I would think a photocopy is sufficient, but check that out with the line before hand), along with your ID and stuff - they will check it when you board - and if you don't have it, they may deny you boarding, with no refund.... |

call the cruise line. I would mail one in and bring a copy to be safe. I know for most cruise lines you have to be 21 unless you're married and in that case they need proof or they won't let you board. |
