I'm 19, and have been on two cruises with my family. I have been all over Australia for holidays, and nothing beats a cruise (at least for me). It is so peaceful being on the ocean, and not having to worry about time, petrol etc etc.
What's better is by the time you wake up, the ship has docked at an island. I would say spend most of the time on land and have as much experience there as possible. You most likely will be on the ocean for a few days until the next port.
You said you are going to Noumea and Vila... Noumea is very expensive, as I am sure you know. Vila is the exact opposite - its SO cheap! Vila has some beautiful waterwalls, which are nothing like what I have seen. The water is clear, and is great to swim in...
I am sure you will have a tone of fun! Sometimes I dream I'm on one, then wake up to the realisation it's just a dream! If you loved this cruise, you'll get the cruising bug. For me, cruising is my holiday of choice! |

Yes they are fun ALL the food is free (its incluedd in the fees you pay) and the one i went on had a club on it, and they have activities, the pool - they use sea-water... we were almost never in our room, except to change clothes/shower... and the ship seems to go faster at night.. and just cruises during the day |

Cruises are definately the best holiday to go on. Different place everyday, loads of entertainment(depending on the ship). I got back from a 1 week royal carribean cruise(voyager of the seas) on saturday and it was the best holiday i've ever had, loads of free food, entertainment, variety of places, excursions, just really awesome but sometimes stuff on it is a little expensive so take quite a bit spending money |

i've been on three cruise and they were amazing. yaa people were always having fun and partying, but there are places to relax as well. there is something onthe boat fro everyone. umm...u should bring spending money...all the food is inluded, but extras cost money and u'll prob want to spend money at the ports. have fun! |
