Is empress level more stable in carnival cruise ship ? any suggestions because I'm easy get seasick ?

Some of us get motion sickness no matter what deck or ship...It's just that's your system is very sensitive to motions.
Like me, I get motion sickness from on-line games where other family members aren't ...

I've also stayed on the Rivera and I've stayed on the Empress deck.. I've been on the Upper deck.. it doesn't seem to matter if the ship is moving faster than normal, turning or if the seas are rough.. My system is heighten. Turns change of directions any things... I can feel it.. and my system will react. Poorly, never-the-less.

the best thing you should do is to stop by the local pharmacy and gather some meds, patches and stay outdoor aboard the ship as possible.

I just came off of the Carnival Valor and I am extremely prone to motion sickness. I was on the Upper Deck (deck 6) with an Interior Stateroom (in the middle of the ship). However I did not get sick. I got the patch called Transderm prescribed by my doctor, and I was 100% fine. Mine came in a box of four and it is replaced every three days. Nice and easy, forgot I even had it on, and had the best time of my life.

I even had two nurses with me and they said as long as you have the patch you wont get sick, youll feel the rocking but you wont get sick and you wont lose your dinner. And you can be anywhere on the ship. And I was fine inside and outside. Felt 100% fine.

well im about to go on a cruise in a couple days , this is my first one matterafact, but my mom did pick me up some sea sick pills just in case, if it helps they are called,"Dramamine" if i was you id get the less drowsy kind though. an hey if you can can you answer my question about the cruise

Stay out front in the bow on the boat, always look at the shore, stay away from the stern.

Make sure the ship is new with stabilizers and you wont have ANY problem. RCCL's new huge ships dont move at all (I get very sick and I have been totally fine on the last two cruises of mine with them) I have been afraid of carnival b/c their ships did not have as much "tonnage" as the large RCCL's as of 12/2005 anyway. Call them or check the stats of your ship. Also, if you are in the middle of the ship, you will feel less movement. Im not sure floor/deck has any impact on sea sickness. Use a wrist band and Bonine tablets if on a light ship!! Bonine is the best. Most pharmacies have it.

Just got back from a cruise on the Imagination and was on Empress level, fourth cabin from the front, oceanview room. I am not prone to sea sickness, but did feel the boat rocking. I saw quite a few people with those small, circular patches behind their ear. Although you could feel motion throughout the cruise, I never heard anyone complain about being sick. People have recommended that if you get sick, get a room mid-ship and lower down. I even felt the rockiness mid ship, but on the Lido deck (top of the boat), where the pool is. The sea's always seemed rockier when we went to bed, but were calm in the morning. I went on a cruise 15 years ago on Royal Caribbean and don't remember the boat being as rough as this one, but that was 15 years ago. I could be wrong. Once again, I did not hear a single person say that they were actually feeling sick. Hope that helps!

I used to work on the Norwegian Cruise lines.
Truth is nowhere is OK for someone who suffers from Sea Sickness.
But, there are pills, and patches that do wonders.
Check them out. Everyone that has used the patches have said good things.
Cruises are awesome by the way. Don't miss it!

Its better but if its rough waves u probaly still get sick.
