Is it any cruise that you can go by yourself? like single cruise or something?

Like everyone else said, you will pay about double if you go by yourself, BUT, there are "singles cruises". Just do a search to find them. What they will do is, if you want, they will put you in a room with someone else that is signed up for the cruise. This will save you tons of money, because you are sharing a room with someone else. Its a singles group (not cruise) so there will be lots of other singles on it also (always good for us singles!). They also have activities set up just for the singles, which is great for meeting others.

While the prices that you see are quoted as "per person with double occupancy of a cabin". You can cruise alone. However, most cruise lines then charge what they call a "single supplement" that means they charge almost as much for one person to occupy a cabin alone as they would be getting for two people in the cabin.
So far I have always been able to find a friend to travel with me so haven't cruised alone.

Contact a cruise specialist who will help you find the least expensive single cruise. Holland America is one that usually has a lower single supplement.

Sure. Typically, you pay a premium; like 150%. Meaning if one person is $100/day based on double occupancy, your cost is $150.
Since it appears this will be your first cruise, I recommend you go through a travel agent to clarify everything for you.
You'll have the time of your life! Very good chance you'll experience a "double occupancy" anyway :).

All of the cruise lines charge about the same for single occupancy; the amount is usually about equal to a double fare, same as if two people were in it.

Here's what I suggest if you want to go alone. Most cruise itineraries go at a different price each week. So, for example, if an inside cabin is $799 per person one week it may be as low as $599 a different month and week. So first select the dates when the fare is the lowest. Then select an inside cabin, which will be the cheapest cabin on ship. Even in that cabin you get about the same space as other standard cabins (not suites) and you get the same cruise as everyone else. There are always plenty of places on ship where you can go relax when you do not want to be in your windowless cabin.
