There are often single girls either traveling alone or with a group of friends. It may not be easy to meet girls but there are definitely going to be girls your age on your cruise.

I do not think it will be easy to meet single girls on a cruise. Most people who go on cruises go for their anniversaries, honeymoons, and family vacations. But there are some people who just go as a group of friends and one of those people might just so happen to be a single lady, so you never know.

Oh, I would tend to disagree with the other posters - I've seen plenty of hookups going on while I have been on cruises

One guy at our table was a solo traveler and by day 3 he had hooked up with a girl from New Zealand. They ate dinner together and went ashore together (and probably more) all week long.

I daresay it probably wouldn't be too hard to get a date with a female crew member, either, if she had shore leave at a particular port and you offered to pay her way on an excursion or the like. (However, this sort of thing is kind of frowned-upon so be discreet.)

There's usually a single's mixer on the first day of the cruise, although I've never been to it. That's probably where the grand majority of matchups happen.

Even if you don't manage to meet anyone you're "interested" in, there will still be scores of people around who will be happy to strike up a conversation with you - people on cruises are usually about the friendliest people you'll meet! You won't be lonely.

I was wondering this exact thing. I'm 19 and going on a cruise in September.

I have a friend who went last year and said he met LOTS of girls. But he meets lots of girls everywhere.

So I don't know about it being 'easier,' but the opportunity is there.

im going on a royal carribbean cruise in august, and i'm in my early 20's along with 5 of my girlfriends. all are single minus one girl. we were wondering the same question in regards to single guys available. looks like there wont be a shortage of guys! also im sure if you guys go to the clubs on the boat at night ur bound to find someone! ;)

My wife and I went with two of my friends on a carnival cruise. My friends, both guys, easily hooked up with girls at the club. They said it was pretty easy.

It's so easy, it should be against the law.
Admittedly there are a large number of couples and families on board but their are also a fair amount of young people on a cruise with their friends, all looking to have a great holiday.
There isn't any holiday in the world like a cruise ship. there is usually a full day at sea, every night is spent on the ship sailing to the next port. On board there are the pools, hot tubs, activities, bars, casino and nightclub. When in port there are the ships excursions The opportunities for hooking up with someone are endless.
Just talk to people, everyone is friendly, have a great cruise.

Forget the love boat thing. Passengers and crew arent more willing to date with you than on an ordinary night club at home. But people are on vacation and maybe getting a little bit looser then... But remember that politenes and good maners rule, every where. If you cross a line they could through you off in the nearest port. Johan
