Is it possible for another tradgey like titanic?

Now that there is enough life boats for everyone and help is always on the way

The Titanic disaster was majorly mismanaged. Since that incident, many precautions have been implemented. The International Ice Patrol now puts GPS transponders on all icebergs so they can be tracked by satellite. There are enough life boats for twice as many people that are on board because of what if the ship lists sideways and half the lifeboats are submerged. All ships now have a double skinned hull. There are also many more vessels out there than compared to 1912, so help is never far away.

It is always possible. But like you pointed out, there are enough lifeboats, in fact more than enough, and with all the ships out there today, a ship is never far away, nor is the Coast Guard or the Navy.

You might not have a ship sink after hitting an iceberg. There are better systems in place to detect things like that, and avoid them.

The biggest danger on a ship today is fire. Ship crews train for fire situations more than any other type of emergency.

We went on a cruise 28 days last October from Dover UK. I was a very nervous passenger (thinking of Titanic - I had some distant relatives who perished on that) until I counted the life boats (they say how many people they take (with seats) and then my husband pointed out the rafts and the round cylinder type things that have inflatables on. I must admit as we were out in the Atlantic crossing to the Caribbean I was a little disconcerted not to see another ship but apparently they are there. Ships have watertight doors so each section can be sealed off even if the hull is damaged. Likewise fire doors. We were certainly not going near any icebergs anyway and when we were coming into port even if there were rocks we would have been very close to aid. They have GPS and everything you can think of on the bridge and the Masters (Captains) are very highly trained. Each ship carries several Masters too which I did not know before my cruise. Our Captain was a very cool Norwegian guy and yes, you could trust him with your life.

Yea, it is. Even though the Titanic sinking brought about much change to the ship building industry:
Creation of the International Ice Patrol
The Radio Act of 1912, out of that came the rule that there much be at least one wireless operator on duty at all times (so each ship must have at least two)
Those are just a few of the many changes that came about after the Titanic disaster. there is always a possibility that it can happen again. No matter how technologically advanced we become there is always going to be that off chance that it can happen again.

Certainly. However, a large loss of life would probably happen by some other means -- broken hull and very rapid sinking or capsizing, caused via explosive, fire, etc.

anything is possible...

Now days, the hull of a ship can break almost anything.
