Some cruise companies require at least 72 hours before booking a cruise, but some you can book 24 hours in advance. It's more of a security thing then any other reason. On these very last minute deals though, don't expect to get a great cabin. It is more likely the worst cabins left. But what the heck, if your ready to go and don't care too much what cabin you get, then go for it.

i would say about 72 hours is your last shot at booking a cruise. Most cruise lines would require about a weeks notice at least probably more.
this is all for security reasons.

i would contact the cruiselines for sure on this one. they might not let you book that close to a cruise departure.
best wishes,
cruisecritic.com has good info

Yes and No.

It completely depends on which cruise line, and which date you are talking about.

Certain times and ships have high demand and sell out way before one week prior. Some cruises have sparse space available a week before. Contrary to what alot of people think, waiting last minute DOES NOT get you the better deal...but there are exceptions. This time of year is sometimes one of them.

If you are looking for a last minute cruise, I'd love to help! We do guarantee the best rates.

Yes it is and I personally book cruises 24 hours before a sailing.
As long as you have all the ID you will need to cruise you can book last minute (sometimes save money too).

Yes just get on line and see what is available. You may have to settle for the lower staterooms but if that's ok with you go for it.

Do not go with Royal Caribbean you will regret it.
Try Carnival or Princess cruise lines.

Its easy to search for a reserve a cruise on line. Make sure you have all your travel documents before you book because with a week advance notice you will not have allot of time for getting these documents in place and you have already passed the time period for any refund if you can not go.

no, unless u get seriously lucky or no someone on the cruise line, you usualy need to book ATLEAST 1 week before the ship leaves, but i can tell you, there almost no way to book it the day before unless your very lucky.

Now you could prally settle on a lower state room, bc most of the rooms with be gone by that time, but i would say you could book 1 week before, but you prally wont get a very good room

yes it is. I think they close either 24 hours before the cruise leaves or three days. not sure, but it is possible to book a cruise the week before. go onto the website of the cruise line and see if there is a cruise available. i know this is true for the big cruise liners. good luck.

Yes, it is. They are sometimes cheaper because they want to sell all cabin spaces. But not all cruise ships have openings.
