Is laundry service available on cruises?

TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only
Yes and some ships have self service laundries and others do not. So you have to check or ask to find out which applies. I think Many Carnival and Princess ships have self service laundries. And I know that Royal Caribbean and Celebrity do not have self service. They both have laundry services and you can get it same day for extra or overnight for regular service. Regardless, the laundry service on ships is very expensive. They will charge, for example, $1.00 for socks, about $200 for a "T" shirt, $3.50 for jeans and/or shorts; and $2.50 for shirts and that's for wash and press.

ohio state crap
Yes. They give you a large mesh bag, and 100 feet of rope. You put laundry in the bag, and loop one end of the rope through the opening. You take a big soap tablet, and place it in the bag. Closing the bag, you hold on to the rope while lowering it over the side of the ship. The waves created by the ship agitate the bag of clothes. When you believe that the clothes are clean, simply haul them up. Wring out your belongings by hand, and place them on the deck to dry. This activity will serve as a wonderful exercise in family bonding.

Yes, and you usually pay for it. There are also machines/laundry rooms that you can use yourself for a small charge. You can bring some dry laundry soap in a ziplock bag since sometimes the cost of laundry soap is outrageous!

MCLS
YES BUT THEY WILL CHARGE YOU ON SOME SHIPS THERE ARE COIN MACHINE YOU CAN USE AND ALSO ON SOME SHIPS THERE IS ONE DAY WHERE YOU CAN GET A SPECIAL PRICE ON ONE OF THE WEEK USUALLY IT'S EVERYTHING YOU CAN FIT INSIDE A BAG

Yes it is, I'm 12 years old, and when I went on Carnival Cruise line with my grandmother and some more family, they had a laundry service. They will come and pick up the
clothing from the given hamper wash it, bring them back and done. :)

yes, they can do regular laundry, ironing or dry cleaning. The ships also have a do it yourself laundry room with coin operated machines. Big tip, if you use these bring your own soap and do it very early in the morning or while the ship is in port.
