Is there a such thing as a Trans-Pacific cruise?

If so, I would like to know where I can find details about one.

this is from cruisebros.com. their description of trans-pacific cruising.

Trans Pacific cruises represent a many different sailing options. Enjoy the Pacific Northwest and Japan in ten days sailing across the north Pacific. Or, take a longer trip aboard Trans Pacific Cruises across the southern Pacific from Los Angeles and visit Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, New Caledonia and Australia. Want visit China, or New Zealand, or sun in Mexico, or shop in Seattle? Trans Pacific cruises visit a variety of ports and can last from ten to thirty-four days. Where you choose to sail on Trans Pacific cruises and how long, are up to you.
Travel back to a bygone era aboard one of our unique Trans Oceanic cruises. A true sailing adventure, Trans Oceanic cruises afford you the time and place needed to take advantage of everything the oceans have to offer. Enjoy wine tastings, designer boutiques, language and dance classes, or lounge poolside. Aboard Trans Oceanic cruises, you have the freedom to do everything, or enjoy doing nothing at all.

Cruise Lines offering Trans Oceanic Cruises include: Oceania Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Cunard Cruises, Orient Lines Cruises, Silver Sea Cruises, and Holland America.

I know that I just received an email today from Holland America advertising a roughly 25 day cruise from Southern California to Sydney, with a lot of stops in the islands. I believe these sorts of cruises are more likely to take place in the middle of winter. In spring April/May you may find cruises that leave from asia and go very far north around the bering region and end up in alaska. if you search for "world cruise segements" you should find a number of itineraries that cross the pacific. I've never seen any that take less than 14 days.

Dan
Jason, Holland-America has a ship making a 114-day grand voyage around the world, and you can ride part way on it. The URL shown below will take you to the website. They usually have other Trans-Pacs, too.

Regards,
Dan
