Ok, so my parents surprised us earlier this year with a cruise that they are taking us on, and I am trying to get things we need. We're going in March on a Caribbean cruise and I was wondering where I could find water shoes for us and the kids? My Mom said one of the beaches is rocky and you need something like them if you want to enjoy it. :-)
Anyone know of any stores that may sell them between now and then? I don't want to spend $50.00 a pair when we get there. LOL Thanks!

Stores are starting to put out bathing suits, so I am sure water shoes will soon follow! Check Target. I know that they are not out yet, but I am guessing soon! You can also get some great cruise information on cruisecritic.com They have a message board on there that is has great information! Happy cruising! |

Various sporting goods stores always seem to have them, but I bought mine in Walgreen's! I suggest you buy the cheapest ones you find since they all -- even the really expensive ones -- get nasty within a week, so you will appreciate throwing away cheapies. If you simply cannot find them or just want to save the money, take old tennis shoes, and they'll work just fine! |

Try Payless ShoeSource. If you can't find it at their stores, you can usually get it at their website. Thats where I usually go for my Cruise footwear shopping. |

Be careful on cruises. This last woman overboard and missing is the latest of nine others supposedly "fallen" overboard. do not drink with the crew either, there has been known to have rapes by the crew and it is not reported to the public. Be very very careful |

If you don't mind Wal-Mart, I bought a pair there for less than 10 dollars. They're nice quality and there were children and adult sizes. They might be a seasonal thing though. If you can't find them, check some popular swimsuit websites. |
