Minor smoking on a cruise ship? |
I am a smoker. I am 14 years old. I am going on a cruise this summer to Bermuda, on Norwegian Cruise Line. If im in a smoking area on the ship, where they allow smoking, is there a chance I could get in trouble because im a minor?
**For the worried people out there, I appreciate that you dont want people to smoke, but I smoke, and thats my decison.

Technically, you CAN'T smoke on board a cruise ship. But unless you are offending others and they turn you in.. you shouldn't have a problem.
Check your particular cruise. There are designated areas for smoking. THese days.. some ships do NOT allow smoking in your room or on the balcony.
Fines are $250 per offense. |

I am sure that any responsible adult seeing you is going to tell your parents/a member of crew or staff. You cannot be addicted too badly yet, now is the time to give up - believe me. I would imagine depending on the country owning the cruise ship they would abide by that countriy's laws regarding smoking (and drinking of alcohol). |

As long as you obey the ship's rules, including properly disposing of your cig butts and you don't burn the ship down, no one (other than maybe your own family will say anything.
Personally? My daughter would have been launched from our house to the moon. But for you? It's your life, you waste it. |

Well for your age smoking isn't something I support, so I wouldn't feel right telling you where to do it. Sorry I can't help you there.
Look at some deckplans on the website, theres plenty of open areas around the ship. |
