with cruise prices you can't really give an estimate. it all comes down to the cruise line you're sailing with, as well as the room you'll be staying in. you can probably ask your friend and her dad for that information and go on the website for the cruise line. normally there's maps to find your room and all sorts of nifty things. (: have fun on the cruise, btw. |

Cruises start at $100 per person per day for the cheapest of cabins. They go straight up from there. |

I just got back from a cruise with my friend in March and it was 2 weeks. The cruise was $1100 and it was Celebrity Cruise lines. You have to bring a credit card on a cruise because you will not use any money at all, unless you go into the casino. Also when you give them your card information they will give you a key card that you use to get into your room and use to purchase stuff.
Make sure you have your passport.
I would say bring $1000 in cash for the islands. |

It will be kind of cozy with the 3 of you in one cabin, won't it?
Most cabins are around 170 square feet which is kind of crowded for 3 people - especially one dad, his daughter, and her female friend.
If he were to have a separate cabin, he would be paying double price since cruiselines prices are for a double cabin. Singles usually pay equal to the price of 2 people traveling together. |
