Any cruise lines better than others, we are mid 40's and dint want a bunch of old folks or kids. quiet relaxing. anywhere special you hav been? do you live in a touristy area? links are helpful. You'll find kids on nearly every cruise line, but they have special kids areas that most of them will stay. I prefer Holland America (I'm in my mid 30's) but there are sometimes more older folks on this one. Avoid Carnival, lots of younger people. Perhaps Princess or NCCL is more your speed.

If you want to depart from Florida (saving you airfare etc) the Caribbean is your best bet. Of course, this still leaves many options: Western, Eastern, Southern - and many ports in each area. Check out the trip ticker from Vacations to go to see what areas look fun to you. There is a lot of personal preference involved. If you like pre-Columbian ruins, the western Caribbean might be more fun. If you like fancy beaches, resorts and shopping, than the easter Caribbean will be more your cup of tea. If you have never been on a cruise before, you'll probably enjoy it regardless of where you go, because cruises are just plain fun. :)

Royal Caribbean has some really great cruises. Their ships are beautiful and they have a lot of activities. I prefer their western and southern caribbean itineraries. Another option is to just visit an island. My favorites are Puerto Rico, St. Lucia and St. Maarten. All 3 are very friendly and offer lots to do and see. Another great place is St. Kitts, not a lot to do but very relaxing and friendly.

Take a Princess cruise out of Tahiti. Check out www.vacationstogo.com. We used them when we cruised from Tahiti to Hawaii and were very happy with their service. You could also check out www.cruisecritic.com for reviews on cruises, cruise lines etc.

Highly Favoured
Come to Barbados, it is nice and warm with friendly people.Additionally you can take a Southern Caribbean cruise to take in more than one island.
