for something to have a lot of fun and have fancy and romantic there too i think carnival will be good. i can also give you a great travel agent who gets the best price she can for everyone.
http://www.greatratestravelservice.com/

it's my mom's website and I'm sure she can also tell you which cruise line is best for what you want.

210-410-2580 or
Toll Free: 1-800-718-9091

that's the numbers.

This is a little bit tough to answer sins you dont say any thing about your girl age or prefferance. Nor anything about the amount you can spent. I uses to say that there is not such a thing as a best cruise or best cruise ship only a best cruise and best cruise ship for you. So after youre talked to your girl about what to do start browsing the web for cruises and cruise lines.

One special cruise that could be worth mention is the famous hurtig rutten i norway espacieally in the summer time it could be a great experience. Johan.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong - I am certainly reading it differently that the others that have answered ... anyway - what I get is that you are a female and you are planning a cruise as a "last get away" with a valuable girlfriend. Maybe you are getting married soon - hence the last ....

Anyway - with that assumption - I'd highly recommend sailing out of San Juan and taking a cruise that included Barbados, Aruba and many southern islands.

Just go and have a wonderful time!

Any cruise. Any ship. Anywhere. All are good. (although I won't sail Norweign again)

Enjoy your last big hourah!

I have two very wonderful ideas for you and your daughter. Carnival Cruise Lines is my favorite line and the Conquest class ships are top notch. http://www.carnival.com. Carnival is big on value and huge on fun! Yet, they do not lack luxury and peace and quiet. One major asset with sailing with Carnival is the Carnival Comfort Bed (seriously the most comfy bed ever-top of the line linens, pillows, and duvets) and Carnival has some of the largest staterooms at sea! They are an amazing vacation! Here are two options for itineraries and ships (I dont really know where you live so you can determine what you want).

The Carnival Conquest sails year-round from Galveston, TX departing on Sundays. It is a HUGE ship which boasts 14 decks, a 200 foot waterslide, an outdoor theater by the pool on the Lido deck, spacious & luxurious rooms, and wonderful gym and spa facilities. You can find out more about the Conquest by visiting this link http://www.carnival.com/conquest. This itinerary visits the beautiful ports of Montego Bay, Jamaica; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; and Cozumel, Mexico. This is a 7-Day Western Caribbean Cruise.

Another wonderful option would be the 7-Day Eastern Caribbean Cruise aboard the Carnival Glory sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida. This ship is actually a sister ship to the Conquest so they have the same layout and amenities and are just themed differently. You can find out more at http://www.carnival.com/glory. On the eastern Caribbean itinerary you sail to Nassau, Bahamas; St. Thomas, USVI; and St. Maarten for a 7-Day sailing.

You cannot go wrong with Carnival and their Conquest class ships. I definately urge you to look at their site. You can find great deals with Carnival. For instance, I have a group rating for the Conquest in January 2009 and the price is $555.29 per person based on double occupancy including all taxes, fees, and the new fuel supplement. Of course any Carnival Cruise Vacation includes fine dining, poolside dining and buffet, 24-hour room service, stops at ports, nightly entertainment, turn down service, poolside games and activities, use of pools, sports, gym equipment, and one "FUN" vacation.

I hope this informaiton helped. If you would like rates or need any more advice or questions answered please give me a call and I would be glad to help you plan this "once in a lifetime" trip. I hope you enjoy yourselves and find what you are looking for.

talk to a CRUISE SPECIALIST about your vacation....not just any regular travel agent. a *good* cruise specialist will take the time to find out what your motivation, needs, interests and preferences are.....and match you up with the best option for you. depending on wat u both like to do (or not to do) and ur budget.....is how he/she will recommend a cruise.

living in Florida, you have an amazing variety of options! so talk to a cruise consultant abt your plans. i can recommend someone if you need it.....
