They should take a good camera and lots of film or digital storage. And extra batteries, too.

Most ships have an Internet lounge. They should write down the directions for logging into their e-mail, and the e-mail addresses of people they might want to e-mail from the ship.

Two swimsuits each - one will always be hanging up to dry.

Just for fun: Some people like to decorate their cabin door with items from their home town or state. I like to take little gifts to give to people like our dining room waiter.

have you ever heard to pack your bag then take half out..at least half out!! most ships have laundry's and also laundry service.you are not going to need as many changes as you think.remember to take extra set of meds ..you also can put some booze in a soda bottle in your suit case ...remember to take your cell phone if you are making connections at the dock...

It's not about what you take, it's about what you dont take!

Most people take more than they need on holidays..

A few sets of casual clothes , swimmers , comfortable shoes , and some formal wear for the formal cruise dinner!


oh and a good book!
