OK to wear Flip Flops to dinner on Royal Caribean Cruises? Enchantment of the Seas Ship info?

Honey, you are preaching to the choir! I'm very tall, thus I wear a size 10 shoe. If there are cute shoes out there in a size 10, please let me know. I just recently came off a Royal Caribbean cruise and wore flip flops every night! However I did try to find a pair of attractive flip flops, not just something you would wear by the pool. Anyway they won't give you a hard time, you are paying customer and they want your tip. Wear those flip flops with a smile on your face!

they are not strict about this, especially if the flip flops are nicer than standard crap ones you buy at old navy. Some nights are formal, and for those you have to wear reasonably formal attire. I saw plenty of people with flip flops, but no shorts or stuff like that at dinner. I don't think anyone there would even bring up something like that at the dinner table, as Royal Carrib is very good at customer service. If you wear something nice up top you will not have a problem, in fact my girlfriend wore some strappy sandals most evenings with her sun dresses.

I will lokk for info on that particular cruise... but I have been on cruise ships before and as long as your clothes look pretty, your shoes would be fine... I would think as long as you were wearing shoes that is fine, just dont go barefoot. :) Its not like anyone inspects you there.
Has this teacher ever been on a cruise? Maybe she is too uptight.

She is lying. I have been on 3 almost 4 cruises and 2 almost 3 were with Royal Caribbean. I wore flip flops to dinner and it was fine. A lot of people were wearing flip flops. I have been on Enchantment of the Seas. It is a beautiful ship. You will love it. I know what you mean that it is hard to find shoes that fit. I am 13 almost 14 and I wear a size 12. Have fun though. Also, when I went on Enchantment of the Seas, it had just been renovated and that was in 2005, so it is really nice.

I just went on a Royal Caribbean "Enchantment of the Seas" cruise in January of this year. They are not so strict about shoes that they wouldnt let you wear flip flops. We saw everyone dressed from formal wear every night to khakis and a nice top, it really depends on the person, but you should be fine!! You will have a really good time. The cruise director of this ship is AMAZING!!!! We a really great experience with the staff of Royal Caribbean, they went above and beyond to accomodate us. Enjoy!!

It should be fine in the casual dining areas, but if you're eating in one of the fancier dining areas that charge you extra, its probably not recommended, but I honestly doubt anyone would say anything anyway, unless they have a specified dress code.

They aren't very strict about it. I have worn flip flops and tee shirts to dinner on royal caribbean cruises and never had a problem.

Been on 4 Royal Caribbean cruises and have worn flip-flops. Going on my 5th Cruise in August and taking my flip-flops.

I've have been on royal caribbean...and i have worn flip flops into the dining room...so they aren't strict...just make sure they aren't muddy and stuff like that...and they won't get on you...

you should wear flats. lots of girls with bigger feet wear those because of that reason and they go great with sundresses
