Princess Cruise Line give you chance to reserve shore excursions up to 120 days. I like the the cruise personalizer. Any cruiser is able to secure the most popular adventures before they are fully booked.

I have been on Disney, Carnival and Royal Caribbean... The carnival one sucked, they are cheaper but you definitely get what you pay for them, and they had real horrible customer service and the ship was old and stinky.

My favorite thing about disney was you ate at all the restaurants just not one, you get a character breakfast, and all the restaurants have different themes and there was lots to do for everyone, Didn't like anything about the carnival one, RCCL I liked that is was a big ship, the promenade had lots to do, and you could, ice skate, golf, rock climb, tons to do
The only one that I disliked anything on was the carnival

I'm going on the longer cruise for next year because
my two previous cruise where too short. So try to go on
a cruise that's at least 5 or more days.

What was your favorite thing about it? (It was my first cruise) the food (in the dining room (buffet was blah)).

What was your least favorite thing? It is an old ship, so it was small and seemed crowded. Couldnt get a good chair by the pool.

What was your favorite thing about it? Windjammer buffet was really nice. Much bigger ship (than Holiday), nice layout, not so crowded.

What was your least favorite thing? They didnt have anyone on the pier to let you know where to go when going on an excursion (felt lost). Leaving the ship after the cruise was over (could have stayed for another).

Between the two cruise lines I liked the R.C. cruise better, but it was a newer, and bigger ship, and the cruise was longer. I would still try Carnival again, but one of the newer ships.

I've been on NCL, Carla Costa, and Carnival Cruise Lines. My favorite thing about cruising was meeting all the other passengers and seeing the different ports. Least favorite thing was that the room was smaller than the bathroom. Fortunately, I wasn't in the room too often. I suggest a Caribbean cruise, because the islands are all so very different. Some are American, like St. Thomas, others are Dutch, like Aruba, others are English, like Barbados. The culture and scenery of the islands varies to some extent. Cruising is plenty of fun and there's always something to do. The food is excellent and they have good entertainment, too. I'm sure you'll find cruising a wonderful experience and decide to cruise again.

check "CRUISE CRITIC" web site. I love cruises - have been on Carnival 4 times, on Norwegian and on Royal Caribbean.

Your family needs to decide what you like to do - sightseeing? water sports? drinks nad disco? shows? lying around by the pool? Based on what YOU want to do on a cruise - check routes and types of ships.

Check prices and scheduels too. A good resource is "CRUISEONE" - you get to talk to a real agent free, get tons of info
