What do you consider reasonable? In Carnival's Price range? Then Royal Caribbean and Celebrity will probably be your best bets. They are usually a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for in better service, better food, better attractions, and a better clientel. |

Royal Caribbean all the way! Their ships are clean, staff is friendly, and the food has always been good. I have been on a ship when it was brand new and also one thet was a little older and they were both equally nice. Everything is well maintained. Check out www.cruisecritic.com. They have all sorts of ship reviews and it helps narrow down your choice. Hope this helps! |

I would definetely recommend Norwegian Cruise Line. I've traveled with them for a long time and have never had any trouble. Their ships are classy and homey at the same time. I would not recommend Royal Caribbean or Princess. In the last year, Princess has had major problems that have resulted in passenger death, including rolling over on it's side and a fire. I wouldn't recommend Royal Caribbean because my friend went on one of those (Mariner Of The Seas) and it broke down on the way to a port. They had to wait for a tug boat to sail out there and drag it back into port. They had to cut the visit short to stay on schedule. Norwegian is the only reasonable cruise line that hasn't had any problems. |

If you are looking for better quality then I would go with Cunard, Crystal or Windstar. They are the Lexus and BMW of cruises.
Holland America Line, Celbrity and Princess are your middle class. Royal Caribbean, Carnival and NCL are the Hyuandai and Kia dealers. |
