Ok, me and my friend need money...and we have two ideas? |
ok my friend and i are planning on going on a disney cruise with me, her, and an adult, so we need about 1,000$ -- 2,500$. so during all winter and fall maybe spring we will be raking the leaves of lawns and shoveling the walks. we were thinking of doing this for fall:
5$ small lawn
7$ medium
10$ large
and we were going to do combos like the front and back for 13$ .
and for winter
small 5$
medium- large 10$
any other suggestions besides, lemonade stand, babysitting, you know not the simple ones like that. we will also being doing chores as well. |

Just as an example, we have a half-acre lawn and hire a company to mow, edge and clean up. That costs us $60.00 per week. If you want to earn money doing that, check with your local landscaping companies to see what they charge and then do it for less.
It depends on your age as to what kind of jobs other than baby-sitting or pet sitting might be available. Maybe a dishwasher or bus person in a local restaurant. Good luck and have fun. |

Put an ad on CL to be a dog walker. VERY easy money.
I hire a neighborhood tween during my peak season and she makes 14 dollars an hour for aprox 2 hours a day. |

I don't know how big "medium" and "large" are, but I would ask more than that for raking and also for shoveling walks, particularly if you have to bag up the leaves, and if the snow is deeper than 2". Just remember that you are worth more than you think you are.
