Old ship, new route or new ship, old route?

My family went on a cruise over new years and it was really fun and we want to go on another royal caribbean next year, but we have to decide: either go on the sister ship of ours which will be basically the same ship, but with different stops; OR go on the new huge ship but go to the same stops. Which would you choose?
Additional Details
yeah we were on the freedom and now were considering the liberty and oasis

I would say that it really depends on you and your family. Do you take a cruise for the cruise experience ( such as the ship) or the ports of call ?Nothing wrong with either.
Many families go to the same place every year for vacations. Why there are resorts, campgrounds etc. Everyone has their own reason why.
It comes down to what interests you the most then following your heart.
Enjoy.

It depends on whether or not you got to do everything you wanted on your last cruise/ports.

But personally, I'd prefer to to take the sister ship with new ports. Broaden you horizons!

I would go on the sister ship and new stops. As long as it was one of the Voyager class ships or higher in class. If it is any lower than that class go for the new Freedom class ships or even the Oasis!! idk because on our cruise we went on the Empress of the Seas (before it was retired) but we had previously been on the Voyage and Explorer so the smaller ship was a disappointment. I would reccomend going to new ports as long as the ship is nice! If you guys had fun on that ship go for new ports! RC is amazing!!!!!!!!!!!

Personally I would go for the new ports, it's always nice to go to places you haven't been and see something different. The new ship will be around for a while and will eventually sail different routes.

I would choose the sister ship with different stops (ports).

We,ve taken cruises that stop at places we've been before and unless there is a lot you did not get to do or see, the "old" stop will be boring.

Got to see new places and new things.

Hope you have a fun and safe trip.
