4 in a room is crowded but do-able. I don't think Carnival has connecting rooms because I tried and they said they didn't have any. You may want 2 separate cabins, it's not that much more money. |

as I have traveled 4 to a room I can tell you it is workable but crowded. now with us it is my husband and I and our 2 boys.
the basic stateroom on Carnival is bigger than any other cruise line and that is a lot with 4, but still crowed.
we have the bed set up as a queen and our boys are in the 2 upper berths (bunks hooked ot the wall, like upper bunks on a bunk bed) In the end the room is for only sleeping and changing but with 4 adults this will take planning and cooperation with the 2 couples in voled. you should know at any time the room steward can come and change the sheets upon request or any other cleaning.
my best suggestion would be if you can to get 2 room, or joining rooms, but this is not always easy to do if it is short notice, as in less than 6 months. We booked our last cruise almost a year in advance and could pick out our room ourselves, if you have the site open when you book and go to the deck plan page for the ship you will go on you can pick the room from the ones that are left. |

4 adults in 1 room is a bad idea unless it is a suite. Cruise rooms are about 1/3 of the size of a regular hotel room. You guys will be cramped beyond belief. |

We were just on the Carnival Legend, which I liked and our room had both a couch, a king bed ( actually 2 twins pushed together) and it had a pull down bunk. The Triumph , Fascination and the Elation had 2 twins and 2 bunks. I would assume that boats in the same class would have similar sleeping arrangements. I doubt, but dont quote me , that you ll find a room with 2 beds big enough to sleep 2 each. |

The rooms sleep anywhere from 2-5 people. In most of the rooms, the sofa does pull out to a bed, but it is a twin size bed. Some rooms have one or two upper beds, and if available, you can call and request a cot, which is also a twin. If you go to carnival's website, you can see how the rooms are set up, and how many beds each have, and how many they sleep, then you can use that information to book it anywhere you want. If you want to get a cot, I would suggest calling Carnival before you pick your room, just to make sure they have one available, and what you need to do to get one. You can get information from different sources, and then book with your cheapest one. That is the way I do it. |

It depends on the ship. Fantasy class ships will have two twin beds that can be put together and two upper berths. The larger ships may have a sofa bed. I would book two rooms. The price difference is not that great. If you want you can get adjoining rooms on the newer ships. If you go to the webpage, you can look at deck layouts, and it will show you which rooms are adjoining on each ship.
I always book the cheapest room available. We only use the room to sleep, shower, and change clothes for the most part, so I do not budget as much for that. |

I highly recommend getting 2 rooms because the living quarters are going to be extremely tight for 4 adults. Imagine 4 adults all having to come in, get showered and get dressed for dinner. It might also save your sanity having two rooms so you guys aern't living on top of eachother for the duration of the trip.
But if you all must share one room, just try to make the most of it!!
Have fun on your cruise!! |

check with carnival for yur specific ship and specific stateroom, but the 2 ships ive been on have not had pull out beds, insteadf a single couch bed and a bunk bed so check with carnival. The best bet might be getting two rooms because 4 in anything smaller than a suite (or maybe a balcony - we did it with two adults a 20 and 23 year old) was very cramped at times. I would go for two rooms if you can afford it. |

hi! i have been on 14 cruises and I have to say carnival was definitely not my best experience. as for the bedding situation they do have bunk beds and rarely a sofa (unless you have a suite) so I would suggest getting two rooms possibly connecting.
good luck!!=) |

It is not a pullout bed. However, it is the most comfortable bed u ever slept on. Sort of like a daybed.
A room for 4 will not have that accommodation. It will have two lowers that you can put together and two uppers that bunks. |

Tell them that you'll have 4 adults in the room; they'll make sure you have enough beds. |

lol i would get two rooms sometimes the sofa is fold out but it is usually in balcony rooms or suits. sometimes they will provide a cot. and if there are two girls in a room that is too much luggage to deal with |
